2025 UK Bank Holiday

Welcome to UK Immigration Navigator, in this article we going to cover the 2025 UK Bank Holiday

We all love a good bank holiday, don’t we? It’s that magical day when you don’t have to worry about work, the kids are off school, and it’s the perfect excuse for a lazy day, a fun adventure, or maybe just a well-deserved nap.

So, to help you get planning (and maybe even book that cheeky weekend getaway!), I’ve put together the official list of bank holidays for 2025 in the UK. Get those calendars ready!

Here’s 2025 UK Bank Holiday

  • New Year’s Day: Wednesday, 1st January. Yep, we get to kick off the year with an extra day off! Plenty of time to recover from any New Year’s Eve shenanigans (or catch up on those resolutions!).
  • Good Friday: Friday, 18th April. The first long weekend of spring! Perfect for a countryside stroll, a spring clean, or simply enjoying the milder weather.
  • Easter Monday: Monday, 21st April. Continuing the Easter break gives us an extra day to unwind after all that chocolate eating.
  • Early May Bank Holiday: Monday, 5th May. This one’s a welcome break after a couple of months of getting back into the swing of things.
  • Spring Bank Holiday: Monday, 26th May. Just in time for the end of the month, and hopefully some sunshine!
  • Summer Bank Holiday: Monday, 25th August. The last bank holiday of the summer – make the most of it before autumn arrives.
  • Christmas Day: Thursday, 25th December. Christmas Day itself is always a special day for celebrating with family and friends.
  • Boxing Day: Friday, 26th December. Time for leftovers, maybe a walk, and some post-Christmas sales browsing.
